During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and dealt with problems to water supplies, per reports from city officials.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has escalated attacks on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the US, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and applying restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to restore power.

A series of attacks damaged electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region came under heavy assaults throughout the evening. A young boy lost their life and three other people were hurt.

The strikes follow nights of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to spot.

National leaders told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were bracing for additional strikes.
